Swimming pool, Mol

Pleasantly molecular

The swimming pool in the Belgian town of Mol is a place for all those who like to dive in, immerse themselves and have fun in the water. The façade radiates this mood: It playfully reflects to the outside what awaits within. In addition, the façade also illustrates the connection of the building to the site on which it stands. The irregular, geometric pattern evokes the structure of glass molecules, pentagons, as Mol is known for sand extraction and glass making.
