‘ELOA’ bench

Simply a bench

Simple and unpretentious. ‘ELOA’ is a bench that leans upon the tradition of the Arts Décoratifs arts and crafts movement and was created for both a contemporary or historical urban context as well as for a green setting. An object with architectural connotations, independent whilst at the same time easy to integrate. ‘ELOA’ is available with or without a backrest, made completely from steel or with a seat made from black locust wood. It comes in a wide range of colours – an example of furniture design that combines robustness and elegance.

‘ELOA’, under the name ‘Modeste’, was developed under the patronage of the Cité du design in Saint-Étienne in the scope of the ‘Banc d’essai’ project (Saint-Étienne International Design Biennial 2025) in collaboration with the French manufacturer TF (Tôlerie Forézienne), which also markets the bench.
