Arneken Galerie, Hildesheim

The paths of history

With the opening of the Arneken Galerie in 2012 Hildesheim established a link to its own trading tradition. For example, the lined pattern on the signs represents the old trading routes, whilst an archaeology exhibition leads to the glorious past of the Hanseatic city. Green information elements guide visitors through the shopping centre, with orange-coloured pylons presenting the historical experience.
